Foodie in the making

My husband and I are foodies in the making. We like to eat out and try new places. Then we discuss how we felt about the place. We recently relocated to Orlando and tried out this breakfast cafe, KeKe’s. (A breakfast cafe typically is only open for breakfast and lunch and closes early afternoon.)

First let me say I love the name. It sounds like your best friends place. “Hey, I’m headed to KeKe’s!” I was actually excited to try it out. Breakfast is also a fun meal- waffles, pancakes, home fries…I mean you really look forward to it.

KeKe’s did not disappoint. If you are a pancake enthusiast, the pancakes are massive! They have a crispy crust and soft interior. Two people could actually split one pancake and still have a little left over. I also loved the bacon. It was a good thickness but not too salty. My husband had the turkey sausage and thought they were good.

I loved the home fries! My grandma couldn’t have done better. The service was good and it wasn’t terribly crowded for a Sunday. The service was great and the staff did a great job with my two year old.

It is reasonably priced but you have to be careful with the add-ons. They can drive your bill up. All in all…great place when you need a pancake fix!
